The
finance, insurance, and real estate club is an on-campus
club for those students who are interested in the related
business fields. You don't need to be a business major to
join, just have a desire to learn more about personal
finance, insurance, or real estate.
The club meets once every two weeks and there is usually
free pizza and soda. We discuss upcoming events,
internship/job opportunities, and how to accelerate your
interest in the area.
Throughout the course of the semester there are many
opportunities for members to get involved. Our club
participates in a stock portfolio challenge, similar to a
fantasy sports league online, and prizes are given out to
those members who end with the greatest investment returns.
Not only is this a great way to learn about stock
investments, it's easy and fun too!.

When it comes to searching for internships
and job opportunities, the club makes it easy to get
connected. Our semi-annual trip to Seattle and Spokane give
you the opportunity to see finance, insurance, & real estate
companies first-hand. It's a great way to meet industry
professionals face-to-face and make those initial
connections.
It's also important to have a great resume! So what are
business professionals really looking for on a resume? Our
resume building workshop presented by the WSU Student
Learning & Advising Center will give you the extra edge
professionals want to see. In addition to the travel and
workshops, the club also hosts in-house speakers who consist
of some of the leading industry professionals in these
fields. It's common to have presidents, vice-presidents,
managers, and financial entrepreneurs speak at our club
meetings. Each bring their own unique insight into the
industry and will probably spark your interest in learning
more!
Well it sounds like the club does a lot professionally...
but do they do anything socially? Sure! Throughout the
semester the club hosts golf tournaments, bowling events,
fundraising events, and of course our free pizza and soda at
club meetings!
How can you join? Click here

meeting times, costs, and what you can expect as being a

See you soon!
