Our Mission Statement

Sigma Iota is a student organization where people with common interests in the Hotel and Restaurant Industry can come together as a group to share and expand ideas, network, and gain massive industry and leadership experiences.

Being involved in Sigma Iota is the most beneficial effort and you can make for your career relating to Hospitality Business Management.  

What can Sigma Iota Hospitality Association do for you?

Our member benefits are endless. The club offers workshops, social and professional networking, face to face time with faculty and industry professionals, and opportunities for industry experience through the planning and execution of events. Sigma Iota inspires members to get excited about Hospitality. 

Activities

Our annual activities include a regionally recognized Winefest, and now Brewfest, which started in 2007, and many more social and educational building experiences.

Our goal

Our goal is to give you as many opportunities as possible to improve your experience at WSU and become a better Hospitality student. We thank the community and staff who have given us the opportunity to be nationally recognized as one of the leading schools of Hospitality Business Management.
